MT 29 FRACTIONAL REACTION DISTILLATION UNIT

Description

 

The unit consists of a packed column with borosilicate ranching rings or ceramic berl saddles. A glass flask with a heating mantle is used as a reactor vessel.  The condenser is provided with copper/glass coil in which cooling water is circulated.  The flow rate of cooling water is measured by the Rotameter and the temperatures of various systems are also measured. A stirrer assembly with FHP flame proof motor a mechanical stirrer and a agitator with speed regulator is also provided.

The density of bottom and reflux can be measured by using specific gravity or by the method of refractive index
